You guys had some good guesses. Meghan got it right. This is an organic lemon. I shot it with a flash behind it so the light would come through the slice.Make sure you click it and view the extreme detail in the larger version.

Wow - you're an awesome photographer. Looks like one of those weeds that you pull out of the ground and blow on it and all the little pieces go flying everywhere. Whatever it is, its a great shot.
